    2. Of Godly Leadership – v 5. Proverbs 29:2 – “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice.”
  4. The Pause
    1. Remember God v 6
    2. Remember past victories vv 7-9
    3. Remember the Ingratitude of the Wicked – vv 10-11
    4. Romans 1:21 – “neither were they thankful”
    5. Unthankfulness – 1 Timothy 3:2; Matthew 5:45-46; Acts 14:17
    6. Remember that it is God who delivers – v 12
      1. 2 Corinthians 1:10 – God delivered, delivers, will deliver
      2. 2 Corinthians 12:10 – His grace is sufficient

    1. The battle is not yours, but God’s – v 15 (cf 1 Chr 5:22)
    2. The Lord is with you – v 17 (cf Heb 13:5)
